Mind Your Manners: Level 1 Obedience

  • Sit

  • Down​

  • Leave it

  • Loose Leash Walking

  • Wait

  • Recall (Come when called)

  • Polite greetings with dogs and humans 

  • Go to bed/Place/Settle

What you and your dog will learn:

What to bring:

  • Standard 6 foot leash (can be longer if necessary)

  • Acceptable collar and/or harness (these include flat collars, buckle collars, head halters, front clip harnesses, martingale collars. NO PRONG, CHOKE, E-COLLARS, OR SHOCK COLLARS WILL BE ALLOWED

  • Mat/towel/bed/blanket

  • Your dog's food and treats (the smaller the size, the better. You can break them up if necessary)

  • Treat pouch (or anything to hold the treats besides your hands)

  • Clicker (It is recommended, but not necessary)

Labrador in training doing a sit stay

Proof of Vaccination records will be required.

Titer testing will be accepted

VACCINES REQUIRED: DHLPP, RABIES, and INFLUENZA (Please note this is an initial two booster series and both boosters must be received prior to arrival) BORDETELLA & a NEGATIVE FECAL within the last 6 months.
